we choose materials the way we choose our path: with care, and with the ocean in mind. every poncho starts from technical fabric engineered for wind and sun, light enough to fold into a bag and strong enough to carry a story.

we work in small batches, with people who share our respect for the process. nothing is rushed. what takes time to make is made to last, and what lasts doesn't need to be replaced.

this is only the beginning. as ANGA grows into wind apparel, sustainability won't be an add-on, it will be the foundation, the same way the wind shapes every kite before it ever leaves the ground.

what you wear

every layer of your poncho, outer shell, lining and interlining, is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, independently tested for harmful substances. even the small parts carry it forward: the drawstring and the thread that weaves our label use Recycled Claim Standard certified fibre, and our hang tag paper is FSC®-certified, from responsibly managed forests. the bag the product ships in uses an oxo-biodegradable plastic technology.

how it's made

the atelier that sews every ANGA poncho is ABVTEX-audited, Brazil's retail-textile standard for working conditions, verified by an independent body. the facility that produces the poncho's small metal fittings operates under an active CETESB environmental licence, monitored for emissions, effluent and waste.
